CELEBRATING BEST HR PRACTICES, OFFICENET IN BW HR EXCELLENCE AWARDS -2020

Gurgaon,5th March 2020: – The BW Businessworld hosted the HR EXCELLENCE SUMMIT & AWARDS 2020 on Thursday, 5th March 2020 at the Leela Ambience, Gurugram. In its 5th year, the event aimed to recognize and reward the very best of those who bear the torch of excellence in the HR Landscape of India and by far are the guardians of India’s Finest People Practices.

The awards commemorate the three pillars on which HR must excel to prove its excellence over all HR Strategy Excellence,  HR Execution Excellence, HR People Excellence and celebrated over 26 top domain leaders recognizing HR practices that are catapulting their companies to new heights.

Among all awardees, TV Rao, Founding President of the NHRD Network and creator of the popular HR Score Card, was bestowed with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. He is known for developing a human resource development audit methodology which was a first of its kind across the world.

Anjali Byce, CHRO, Sterlite Technologies, was the ‘CHRO of the Year’ and was awarded for creating a robust business aligned HR strategy and for crafting a structured effective program on productivity improvement. Panel discussions were also facilitated by HR professionals from different industries to discuss the role of AI and Technology in creating happy organizations.

Today's organizations have to deal with environmental pressures, rapid technological change, and tougher competition, generating a need for the human resource function to help navigate through these transitions to increase their real and perceived value. The event aimed to recognize this very excellence.
