She acknowledged and praised recent government efforts towards making Provident Fund processes easier and the changed Income Tax rules last year which has also made things easier. On the other hand, Ma’am also talked about issues in the manufacturing industry with current Employee State Insurance (ESI) rules that are causing delays in contributions and settlements. The government should make these rules simpler, which could make managing Human Resources processes easier.
