The New Maruti Insurance Website was launched in April 2016 translating their Company’s brand online. During the research phase of the project we studied the Motor Insurance Sector in India. The IRDA Guidelines in particular on the Insurance promotion laws and their usage on the digital medium. We spent a lot of time working with MI on the site’s information architecture and, particularly, the site map and priority of different sections. There was a lot of integration with the Maruti Car Owners database as they have an online facility to renew & buy car insurance plans.
The Site gives a fresh & warm feel to the Maruti Insurance Customers. The design is simple & user friendly with lot of FAQ’s & online assistance options. In the first month of launch itself the Website did a good number of online sales. The Users now have an easy option to do Car Insurance renewals & purchase through the Website. The Website won a BAM Award for its design from the Brand & Advertising Media.
